SÃO PAULO CAMPUS

The São Paulo Capital Campus consists of the University City [Cidade Universitária] “Armando de Salles Oliveira,” located in the Butantã district, which is why it is also known as the ‘Butantã Campus’. Most of USP’s academic departments are located at the Butantã Campus.

Also part of the São Paulo Capital Campus is the School of Arts, Sciences, and Humanities [Escola de Artes, Ciências e Humanidades] (EACH), also known as USP Leste, located in the eastern part of the city, and the Health/Law Quadrilateral [Quadrilátero Saúde/Direito]. The health units (Medicine, Tropical Medicine, Nursing, and Public Health) are situated in the Cerqueira César district, near the Clínicas subway station, while the Law School (FD) is in Largo São Francisco, right in the center of São Paulo.

Numerous museums, hospitals, and specialized institutes are also part of the São Paulo Capital Campus.
