Grading System

Undergraduate

Grades may range from zero to ten, and these numbers may be rounded to the nearest tenth. In order to pass a course, students must fulfill two conditions: minimum score of 5.0 (five) and minimum course attendance of 70%. The meanings related to grades ranging from five to ten, such as ‘excellent’, ‘very good’, ‘good’, ‘fair’, ‘satisfactory’, ‘pass’ and so on may also vary within and across subjects, and therefore grades are best interpreted in terms of normalized scores calculated by taking into account average grades, standard deviations and so forth.

Postgraduate
