French Chairs Program in São Paulo
The programme is aimed at French academics. Successful applicants will be referred to as Visiting Professors at USP. French academics from French public or private Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) are the target group of the programme, whose objective are: to support new collaborations and projects on emerging issues; to strengthen the development of preexisting cooperation in the search for excellence. The programme must be managed jointly with a Brazilian peer host and represents an outstanding opportunity for the participants to develop and design collaboration strategies between French institutions and the Universities of the State of São Paulo – Universidade de São Paulo (USP), Universidade de Campinas (UNICAMP) and Universidade do Estado de São Paulo « Júlio de Mesquita Filho » (UNESP) – through research and teaching activities and scientific dissemination.
Calls for applications are publish on this website every time the programme is launched. Applications/collaboration proposals must be submitted by a USP faculty member.
