PIRASSUNUNGA CAMPUS
Pirassununga is a city located 210 km from São Paulo, 100 km from Campinas, and 100 km from Ribeirão Preto. It has fertile lands with a clear vocation for food production. The campus of the University of São Paulo in Pirassununga is the largest continuous area within USP. It spans over 2,300 hectares, encompassing tropical pasture areas, annual crops, livestock facilities, agriculture, old-growth forests, lakes, herds of beef and dairy cattle, poultry, swine, equidae, caprinae, sheep, buffaloes, rabbits, and fish. Additionally, there is a slaughterhouse school, dairy processing facility, and laboratories.
