Erasmus Programme
The European Community Action Scheme for the Mobility of University Students (Erasmus) is a European Union (EU) exchange programme built on decades of experience. The details regarding the requirements, selection criteria and instructions on how to apply are made available by means of calls for applications for selection processes run by the home Higher Education Institution (HEI). Successful applicants will be formally nominated by their home HEI and referred to as Visiting Professors at USP.
Preferably before the application process, the participant should make sure that there will be a contact person at USP who can be her/his host during her/his stay with us. If the applicant needs help to find a contact person who could provide a letter of invitation, one can contact the local international offices operating at the faculty level or the Central International Office. The following documents will be necessary for a successful application:
- CV;
- Mini-Bio;
- Proposed Mobility Programme (the template will be provided by the home HEI) comprising: (i) the overall objectives of the mobility; (ii) added value of the mobility; (iii) content of the teaching programme;
- a letter of invitation from a faculty member of USP;
- a copy of the passport (bio-date page)
