The Institute of Energy and Environment [Instituto de Energia e Ambiente] (IEE) aims to promote interaction between societal needs, science, and technology. It stimulates interdisciplinary exchange and collaboration to address energy and environmental challenges. IEE conducts teaching, research, and outreach activities, develops innovative solutions, and serves as a center for integration and coordination with other units of the University of São Paulo and external partners, contributing to sustainable development. IEE is located on the São Paulo Campus, in the University City [Cidade Universitária] (Butantã district), west side of the city of São Paulo.
